About Program Financial Aid

CYT National's Program Financial Aid has been made possible through the funding of the Menard Family Foundation. Their generosity will positively impact students and families across the nation this year. An education in quality theater arts training is an investment in the future. The funds provided through the Program Financial Aid are designed for students to help pay for the cost(s) of CYT programming such as classes, production fees, and/or camps. 

This opportunity is for CYT students who meet the following criteria: 
  • Must be a returning student at a CYT Branch.
  • Must demonstrate a need for financial assistance. 

How To Apply?

If you meet the qualifications to apply, the process is simple. Fill out your application completely through our online form by September 6th.

Application information needed: 
  • Basic information (name, age, Branch).
  • A short essay (200-300 words) on how CYT has impacted the student's life and the benefits that would come from the scholarship.
  • A recommendation from a CYT leader or teacher (submitted via this form).
The review and selection process will take a brief period of time, and you will receive notice of your status by September 12th.

FAQ's

Will this cover my entire tuition or production fee? 

ANSWER: This financial aid is designed to help and assist you and your family to pay for the cost(s) of quality theater arts training at your CYT Branch. While it may not cover the entire tuition or fee, it will cover a significant portion of the cost.


I have already registered and paid for my child's Fall tuition, do I get a refund and use this money towards that tuition? 

ANSWER: This financial aid cannot be applied retroactively. However, you can apply it towards the Fall production fee if your student is planning on auditioning for your Branch's show. You can also apply this financial aid towards the Winter class session. When you apply, you are able to select which program you would like this financial aid to be applied to.
