As the parent organization for all CYTs across the country, CYT National trains and supports all CYT Branches, ensuring that their programs uphold the CYT mission. Every year new CYTs are starting up around the nation, bringing quality theater education to new families and communities. The cost to get these new programs off the ground is significant, both for the Branch and for CYT National. It costs CYT National roughly $25,000 to bring CYT to a new city. Throughout the typically year-long start-up process, CYT National spends substantial time and resources training new individuals, building customized software, marketing, and sharing resources and materials. While the cost is great, we believe that the reward is greater.

Each CYT begins with a license to operate within a 50-mile radius in their community. That means their reach extends anywhere from 78,000 individuals (in Lake Charles, LA) to 2.8 million individuals (in Houston, TX). CYT National turns to generous donors like you to support the training of new affiliates, so that CYT might make a difference in the lives of students and families in every city in our country.
