Wiggles - Preschoolers will have an hour of fun learning about theater. They will be introduced to many aspects of theater as they learn to feel comfortable getting up in front of people. Class will include movement to music, singing and dancing, theater games, puppetry, simple costume making and even “performing” a simple Showcase.

Mommy and Me - Join other moms and preschoolers for an hour of fun and learning about theater for children. Moms and their children will enjoy movement to music, singing and dancing, theater games, puppetry, simple costume making, and even “performing” in a simple Showcase “production”. This class will introduce preschoolers to many aspects of theater and will help them to feel comfortable getting up in front of people. This is a one hour class.

Tap, Ballet, Acrobatics - Tiny tots will learn lots of ways to move, as they begin to develop rhythm and muscle control in basic tap and ballet steps, as well as simple tumbling moves and routines.

Our Gang 1- This high-energy class introduces children to the fundamentals of theater, using songs, drama games, skits, and theater fun. It is designed to build self-confidence and stimulate imagination. This age group is not eligible to audition for the session production.

Mini Stomp - This advanced class will be offered to students who have participated in CYT "Our Gang" classes for two sessions. In this class, you will continue to develop your musical theater skills, while adding in plenty of tap training. Get ready to move! This age group is not eligible to audition for the session production

Broadway Boogie - Learn some basic tap, jazz, and ballet moves in this introductory dance class that will help you develop character and stage presence in your performance. We will boogie to lots of fun Broadway show tunes. This age group is not eligible to audition for the session production

Ballet - This class teaches beginning forms of movement focusing on ballet. Learn the basic techniques of one of the most exciting elements of theater - DANCE!

Minnie and Mickey Mouse Club - Come learn stage presence, projection and diction through popular Disney movie songs. The Club will be encouraged to love one another and share their talents with one another through musical theater. Each child will be encouraged to sing a solo and to shine on stage. This age group is not eligible to audition for the session production

Once Upon A Time - Theater is “story on stage”. In “Once Upon A Time”, your child will be introduced to the concept and creation of “story” through activities, games, examples, sharing stories of their own and authoring their own showcase sketch! This age group is not eligible to audition for the session production

Let’s Clown Around - This high-energy class introduces children to the fundamentals of theater, using songs, drama games, skits, and theater fun. It is designed to build self-confidence and stimulate imagination. The theme of the class will center on clowning. You will learn to create your own clown character, apply makeup, make balloon creations, juggle and more! This age group is not eligible to audition for the session production.

A Pirate’s Life for Me - Come ride the high seas with Pippi Longstocking and her friendly pirates as we explore the fundamentals of theater through songs, drama games, skits and theater fun. Our Gang 2 - This advanced class will be offered to students who have participated in CYT "Our Gang" classes for two sessions. Auditioning skills, short plays, stage movement and character development will be included, plus a higher level of voice and dance training.
