Show Info:
In the early 1970s, a group of educators got together and came up with a fun and simple solution to the oft-asked question: Why is it that kids can learn every lyric to their favorite song, but fail to remember what a noun does in a sentence? Schoolhouse Rock Live! was introduced as a Saturday morning cartoon series that taught history, grammar, math, science and politics through clever, tuneful songs.
A nerve-wracked school teacher tries to relax by watching TV when various characters representing facets of his personality emerge from the set. They show him how to win his students over with imagination and music.
